Cheeseburger Bowls

After I found a recipe for Egg Roll in a bowl and tweeked it to the way I liked it, I fell in love with sautéed coleslaw mix. I began to think of other ways to use it and the first thing that popped into my head was cheeseburger bowls! I had no idea if something like this even existed already but I didn’t care. Sometimes the best recipes are the ones where you have no directions. Happy accidents I think Bob Ross liked to call them 😂

Well this recipe was a big hit with the family and super easy to make as it’s a one pan wonder! I made the Fat Head recipe for pizza crust, covered it with cheese for cheese sticks, and turned it into a side or you could use it like a bun.

If you use regular coleslaw mix, you can add in a few strips of cooked bacon, chopped

Shredded Colby Jack cheese for serving

Instructions:

1.) Brown ground beef in a skillet pan with salt, pepper, and minced garlic. Add in coleslaw mix, tomatoes, and sauté until coleslaw is soft.

2.) Add in ketchup, mustard, and pickles. Mix well and let simmer. Add in bacon.

3.) Serve in a bowl with shredded cheese on top! Enjoy!

**You can customize this to whatever burger you love! Add in onions, mushrooms for a Swiss burger or add a fried egg and ham for a breakfast burger!
